Kawlin, 7 November
Local resistance forces have totally controlled Kawlin, the district township of Sagaging region, on 3 November.
The Ministry of Defense under National Unity Government made a news release that the revolutionary forces launched offensives to control Kawlin township on 3 November, and they have successfully occupied the entire township on 6November.
The administrative sectors of military regime has toppled in Kawlin, and district’s general administration office, schools, land registry office and Myanmar economic bank have been under the control of revolutionary forces.
It has been the first occupation of resistance forces to a district-level township in two and half years after the military coup.
