Paukkaung, 2 December

People’s Defense Forces attacked a junta checkpoint on the road between Nyaungon and Chinlaey village, Paukkaung township, Pyay district, Bago region, according to the Bago’s PDF.

 The attack occurred early in the morning of 29 November and two junta soldiers were injured in  the attack.

The injured junta forces were taken to the Pakkaung township by an ambulance and the causality remains unknown.

The junta soldiers from the checkpoint threatened and troubled the locals in various ways by slandering, asking for extortion, and threatening on local’s purchase more goods according to the statement. 

This attack was carried out by the Division 3 of PDF Battalion 3602 in Pyay district and SPDF joint forces. Although the military council carried out a counter attack, the resistance forces could retreat successfully.  

The junta forces have been warned to join the public and contact the public defense forces in time for surrender.
