Launglon, 7 December

Allied resistance launched attacks on police station and military security affairs office in Tanintharyi Region’s Launglon Township, said locals.

They conducted simultaneous attacks on the offices from three directions around 4 a.m. on December 6.

The attack sparked a 30-min-long battle between the two sides, according to the locals.

The details of the situation remain unknown, and the resistance forces have not released any statement.

The military council reportedly conducted inspections inside and outside of the town between 6 to 8 a.m.

Than Lwin Times tried to reach Launglon People’s Defense Force (LLPDF) for comment on the attacks on police station and military security affairs office but did not receive any response.

On December 5, one junta soldier was killed in the attack on regime forces who were conducting an inspection in front of the immigration office in A Ward of Launglon.
