Tanintharyi, 8 September
A military vehicle and an infantry column were caught in a surprise attack near Aw Gyi village in Tanintharyi, killing four soldiers, including an officer, officials from the Tanintharyi local defense force told Than Lwin Times.
On 6 September, around 1 p.m., a Vigo military vehicle from Light Infantry Battalion 566 based in Zawe village hit a landmine planted by allied resistance forces.
After that, the junta column was ambushed when they came for reinforcement, suffering heavy losses.
The regime forces picked up the dead soldiers and took them to Myeik Hospital, said an official from the Tanintharyi local defense force.
The attack was jointly carried out by Palaw local defense force, Yoma Defense Guerrilla Force and Taw Pone Gyi group.
On 2 September, two junta forces were injured in an attack while hiding in an ambush near the Bo Gyoke statue at the entrance to Tanintharyi.
