Loikaw, 10 February
Four people died and two seriously injured after a landmine hit a civilian car near Zayetphyu village in Loikaw Township, Kayah State, on 6 February.
The four victims in the Toyota Ipsum car were passengers, and the remaining two were locals, according to members of Shwe Loikaw, a community-based civil society organization.
The incident happened at 6 miles from Loikaw city, and 2 miles from a junta camp. However, no security forces inspected it.
Local accused junta forces of planting landmines, and that members of people defense forces lost their legs due to these mines.
The bodies and injured victims were taken to Loikaw hospital with the help of civil society organizations.
