Pauk, 1 February
A military officer and his sergeant were shot dead at the checkpoint of local People Defense Force in Pauk Township, Magway Region on 27 January.
A Mark-2 Toyota saloon car used by four junta soldiers was attacked after it left from Pyusawhti village about 4 miles east of Pauk Township.
Another captain Htein Lin Soe and his sergeant escaped from the attack with gunshot wounds, said Bo Let Yar from Myaing PDF Battalion (1) to Than Lwin Times.
In exchange of fire, a PDF member was wounded at his thigh and heel.
After the attack, the PDF confiscated a MA-3 gun, its magazine and 68 bullet, one handheld receiver and one bullet proof jacket.
The attack was jointly carried out by Myaing PDF’s Battalion (1), people defense forces in Pauk village and YDF battalion.
