Guerrilla forces control military camp in Kayin state

A camp of Myanmar military and its affiliated Border Guard Force in the area of Brigade of Karen National Union Brigade 5 was raided and controlled by the joint-guerilla forces on 25 February morning, according to the report of commanding office of Bamar People’s Liberation Army (BLA).

The joint mission included the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), the Bamar People’s Liberation Army, the local People’s Defense Force and the Force for Federal Democracy.

The military camp fell under control of guerilla forces  after 30-minute fighting as the junta soldiers and BGF troops fled the camp in fear of their life, said BPLA report.

One body of BGF was found and two weapons and ammunition were confiscated, and any one of guerilla forces was not injured in the attack.
