Palw, March (23)

Two clashes flared up between Minhtein and Pawut Phyar villages in Tanintharyi Region’s Palaw Township, the day before yesterday, killing 13 military personnel, according to the King Cobra resistance force.

The battle broke out when the combined force of revolutionary forces attacked a 200-strong junta column with landmines around 10:30 am on March 21.

The fighting killed 13 junta soldiers and injured one member of the Karen National Defence Organization (KNDO) was injured.

The attack was carried out by King Cobra, KNDO, PDF Division 3, KPDF, King Dragon, and Commando joint forces.

The suffered junta forces have stationed at Minhtein village and some villagers were in custody, but the number of detainees is still being investigated by Than Lwin Times.

On March 12, the regime forces clashed with a combined force of the PDF near Kabyar village in Palaw, which resulted in the deaths of three soldiers, including an officer, and five other PDF members.
