Mawlamyine, 3 July
Miliary operations will be intensified with counter-offensives to the junta troops, according to the announcement of No (2) sub-command of Southern Regional Command of People’s Defence Force.
The announcement warned people not to travel before 6 am and after 6 pm on old Yangon-Mandalay highway, Bago-Sittoung route, Yangon-Muttama route and Yangon-Hpa-an route.
It also warned that window glass of the cars must be put down even in the daytime, and inspections must be accepted.
Some people’s defence forces has confirmed that they are ready to change their defensive strategy to the offensives at present.
