The military council has prohibited performance of music bands at the restaurants in Yangon region, according to an anonymous source of regional police force to Than Lwin Times.
The order was issued by the junta-controlled general administration departments of respective townships, with effective date on 6 July.
“Restaurants can be opened, but music bands or DJ are not allowed,” said the source.
License will be revoked if the restaurants fail to abide by the order, and they will be sealed off.
After the military coup, narcotic drugs are sold at nightclubs, bars and restaurants. And that the military ordered these places to be closed infinitely.
Yangon Urban Guerrilla forces have warned possible attacks on nightclubs and bars which are supporting the miliary council, and threatened the visitors to such entertainment places.
