Military council prohibited 10 items at the ceremony of 76th Martyr’s Day on 19 July.

Visitors to Martyrs’ Mausoleum, Secretariat Building and Bogyoke Aung San Museum are not allowed to take mobile phones, purse, camera, wreath, bouquets, flag, lighter, vinyl, bottle, ballpen and various sticks.

A special exhibition will be displayed at Bogyoke Aung San Museum, and the entry fee will be free on 19 July.

Security has been tightened in an around Secretariat Building.

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who is the daughter of Bogyoke Aung San, was allowed to visit Martyrs’ Day event while she was under arrest during the regime of former military chief  Than Shwe. But she was not allowed to attend the event after she was arrested after 2021 military coup.
