The United League of Arkan / Arkan Army (ULA/AA) captured three military council camps during the two days battle in Rakhine State, arrested eleven junta soldiers including the deputy commander, according to its report on 14 November.
In addition, more surrendered soldiers from military regime will be welcomed.
The AA also said that fighting with junta forces have broken out in five locations in Maungdaw and Minbya townships, and the Done Paik border guard outpost in Rathedaung township was captured.
Chaingkhali border guard force was totally occupied at 7:30 am on 14 November, the statement.
The prisoners of war captive in the two battles in Minbya township includes Deputy Commander Major Thant Zin Tun and Platoon Commander Captain Phyo Zayar Hlaing.
Witnesses said that during that battle, more than ten junta soldiers were killed and more than 10 persons were injured.
More battles took place in the northern part of Maungdaw township, and fighting with the 232 Infantry Battalion near the Thinbawhla village, about 14 junta soldiers including Deputy-Platoon Commander Kyaw Thet Naing were killed and one was captured, as well as weapons, ammunition and military equipment were seized.
Arkan Army captured all the troops including the junta officers, in accordance with the international law for prisoners of war.
It is also reported that six fighters from the Arkan Army were killed during the two days of fighting.
On 13 November, 22 police officers from the Apawtwa Police Station under Military regime of Apawtwa Township and six policemen from another police station surrendered to AA with weapons, so the AA said that they will continue to welcome those who will surrender.
After the first day of the battle in Rakhine State, the military’s border guard under the military regime and around 40 police stations have been abandoned, and the nearby junta stations and three police stations have been combined into one, so Arkan Army will continue to attack those who do not surrender.
The military junta troops are targeting civilians suspected of being related to the ULA/AA in the villages of Taungup, Thandwe, Gwa, Yanbye, Kyaukpyu, reported by Arkan Army.
