Today, we will check the content that was spread on Telegram by junta supporters: Ba Nyunt and Han Nyein Oo, entitled “PDFs disrupt donation ceremony”.
This content has been disseminated on social media since March 8.
According to the report, PDFs killed a donor who led a donation event in Paukone village, west A-Yoe-Taung village tract, Yangon’s Tuntway Township.
When Than Lwin Times checked the post shared by military supporters, it was found to be propaganda.
In fact, the deceased were military loyalists: Soe Lwin, the junta-appointed administrator, and Than Lwin, a veteran and leader of the Pyu Saw Htee militia group.
According to the instructions of the military council, the administrator Soe Lwin, alias Kyar Gyi, forcibly collected the household guest list, threatened the houses that did not pay the electricity bill, and collected exorbitant amounts of money from them, so the resistance force, the Delta Revolutionary Force, assassinated them.
